Microneedling
Microneedling is a cosmetic treatment that uses a device with fine needles to make small punctures in the skin. These injections stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins responsible for the elasticity and firmness of the skin. This can help improve wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars and other skin irregularities.
Before the treatment
Avoid retinols, exfoliants, acids (such as glycolic acid) for at least 7 days before your treatment. Try to stay out of the sun and wear SPF. Avoid Botox, Filler or Laser treatments for at least 2 weeks before.
Directly after
Expect some redness, swelling or bumps for a day or two. Bruising is sometimes possible, but don’t worry, this reaction is completely normal and will go away like any other bruise. Avoid exercise and only use the products we approve (for recovery).
3 days later
You can go back to some gentler skin care products from now on. Try not to scratch scabs or flakes and let your skin heal on its own. Wait at least 7 days before returning to your skin care routine that includes scrubs, acids or retinols.
2 to 4 weeks later
Your skin should feel better and softer. We recommend 6 treatments with an interval of 2 to 4 weeks. Depending on your skin problem, you may need a few treatments to see the desired results.
End of treatment
Once your course of treatments has been completed, the desired results should be achieved. After the treatment, an intensive treatment should be repeated every 3 months to keep the skin in good condition.
