Before Laser Hair Removal
- The night before the procedure, the area to be treated must be completely shaved, leaving no hair or stubble on the skin's surface. It is your responsibility to be prepared for the procedure as we do not provide shaving services.
- The skin should not be tanned; it should be close to your original skin color. Laser hair removal should not be performed on tanned skin.
- The skin should be protected from sun exposure before the procedure.
- No alcohol should be consumed within 24 hours before the procedure.
- The skin will be examined before the procedure to check for conditions such as fungal infections, eczema, psoriasis, and urticaria.
- Laser hair removal is not performed on individuals who declare pregnancy or suspect they might be pregnant.
- Individuals under the age of 18 can undergo the procedure with written consent from their parents.
- If you believe you have a low pain threshold, you can apply a local anesthetic spray or cream to the desired area about half an hour before the procedure.
After Laser Hair Removal
- Some individuals may experience redness, swelling, or blistering. In such cases, a cold compress or moisturizing cream can be applied.
- The treated area should not come into contact with water for the first 8 hours after the procedure.
- Avoid sun exposure for 3 days if possible, and use high-factor sunscreen. Tanning is strictly prohibited.
- It is not recommended to engage in activities such as swimming in the sea, pool, or spa for 3 days.
- Avoid intense exercise for 2-3 days.
- Hair will emerge and begin to shed within 14 days after the procedure. Do not shave or wax any remaining hairs until the next appointment.
- An increase in acne and redness may be observed, especially in men. In such cases, use moisturizing products that soothe the skin.
- Consult with your esthetician regarding the date of your next session, and follow a course of at least 8 sessions.
